Log My Care is a UK-based digital health platform designed to support care teams working in residential, domiciliary, and supported living environments. The app replaces outdated paper-based processes with streamlined, mobile-first workflows, improving the quality and efficiency of care.

As the Senior Mobile Developer, I led the development and optimization of the mobile app, introducing over 20 new features, scaling performance, and strengthening the CI/CD pipeline. My work helped Log My Care expand its user base, improve care delivery outcomes, and secure over €10M in investment.

My Role & Responsibilities

  • Feature Delivery:
    Designed and implemented over 20+ features, including:

    • Care notes, alert triggers, medication logging

    • Shift and rota tools for daily handovers

    • Offline-first functionality to support carers with limited connectivity

  • Performance Optimization:
    Refactored legacy components and optimized render cycles, resulting in 40% faster performance across both Android and iOS devices.

  • CI/CD & Testing:
    Built a robust mobile delivery pipeline using Bitrise and Fastlane, ensuring smooth deployments.

    Introduced unit testing and automated UI testing with Maestro, increasing reliability and reducing regressions.
